The Team Investigated child abuse cases that are reported to the Agency. The cases involved sexual abuse, physical abuse and negligence towards children. The Unit also received cases involving children posing extreme behavioral challenges and those who needed support due to disabilities and mental challenges. We also provided services for children who were in conflict with the law. My duties involved reviewing the investigative findings and the interventions provided to ensure that the children are safeguarded and that all risk factors are addressed. I also ensured that the cases are managed in accordance with protocols and procedures.
