Theresa Walker

I bring 25 years of experience in customer service, having worked across a variety of sectors, including grocery, retail, and fast food. My career has included roles at The Fresh Market, Super Kmart, The Sports Authority, and HEB. Due to my husband’s service in the Navy, we relocated frequently over a period of ten years, which allowed me to gain diverse and adaptable skills.

My primary responsibilities have included inventory management, tagging, signage, and overseeing operations across entire stores. At HEB, I was part of a team that developed and implemented a store replenishment system, which involved managing computer-based ordering processes. I served as the Perpetual Inventory Controller, ensuring accurate inventory levels.

At The Fresh Market, I received cross-training in multiple departments, such as seafood, meat, bakery, deli, produce, grocery, and front-end operations, enabling me to open and close the store as needed. During my time at Kmart, I worked in roles that spanned the front end, lawn and garden, and more.

Additionally, I worked as a photographer for Picture People for one year and have freelanced in photography for over 20 years. I am passionate about helping people and providing excellent service.

In 2016, I encountered health issues that have since left me permanently disabled and limited in my ability to work. I am now seeking opportunities to work remotely, where I can contribute a few hours per week from home.
