Hey now I'm a 50 year old guy who has a high school diplomas and had my CDL License till I had a stroke in 20111 which paralyzed me temporaly on my left side.

Fast forward to 2024, my grandson and kids losttheir mom and grandma and now I'm the sole parent and grandparent which I decide to goback to work so I got my clp permit when I was going to get my road test the instructor shut me down a couple of days before my road test to get a SPE all of a sudden I already trained for 2 and half months and got my DOT Medical card but they only valided it for 6 months if I didn't had no health problems they will renew it to the standard 2years I went back to renew my card then all of a sudden they want me to get a SPE certificate which I burned 9month waiting to hear from them and still waiting because I was decline my DOT Medical card my clp permit was no good.

I pivot and went back to culinary art school to finished my culinary arts degree which I'm now attending mchefs are supporting me all the wai but they are concern that anyone would give me a chance to intern and work after graduating all I asked is for a shot I have a chauffeurs license and soon my culinary arts degree please help.
