Hello, My name is Jeffrey Foster. I am retired and on SSDI but am looking for work to supplement my income. I spent the majority of my career in the insurance business but I have extensive experience in business writing—developing proposals for senior management, writing insurance-related blog posts, and writing and editing the company newsletter, “Blue Print”. I also wrote numerous press releases as the Blue Streak program coordinator. I studied communications in college with an emphasis in journalism and public relations. I did an internship for the Charlotte Observer in the early 90s but was unable to find work in journalism due to the recession that occurred during that time. Fortunately I found a career in insurance where I was able to utilize my communication and writing skills. My career at Central Insurance as an auto insurance product manager provided me with an array of opportunities allowing me to develop strong research and project management skills. In addition, I believe I possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
