  Role Description:

  Worked at home store and various locations throughout our district ensuring merchandise flowed from truck to sales floor while meeting and exceeding company standards. ri was responsible for reviewing shipping manifests before arrival of each truck (2-3 trucks a week, varied by store) and formulating a plan got the backroom team to execute when moving product. i would often help unload trucks and push product directly to floor for sales, merchandising per company guidelines. Executing Planograms was a huge part of the job. I loved bringing new life to sold down and stale areas of the store. We did a POG reset once evey 2 weeks to keep the store looking fresh, new and inviting. Around the holidays we had a lifestyles writer from a local newspaper come by to shop. She was asked to come back with her friend who was a photographer to take pictures of holiday displays throughout the store. It was magical. And such an awesome experience.

  Role Description:

  I began my career at Hot Topic(HT) as a stock team mekeber and visual merchandiser for the holiday season. I'd worked maybe a week or two and was offered a perm position with the team as an assistant manager. As an ASM, I was responsible for all aspects of the business; from opening and closing the store to interviewing and training new hires, setting merchandise based off reports and tends in our area, ensuring sales goals were met/exceeded, keeping a focus on loss prevention and training team members to build a solid bench for growth within the company. Store successfully maintained 1.2+ million dollar 'big box' status. Shrink remained below company goals.

• Job Title: Store Manager & Assistant Store Manager

  Period: January 2019 - present

  Role Description:

  From Jan 2019 to March 2022 I worked as a Store Manager for the company, overseeing daily operations and sales for 1.4 mil dollar store. Company did a bit of restructuring due to cannibalization withing markets where stores sat on top of one another. My location was very old and in need of constant repairs. It was one slated for closing and by the end of Match my team had all be relocated to other stores in the area. This often meant having to step down a position which is what happened in my case due to a lack of Store Leader positions within the company and a hiring/promoting freeze. Which we are still in more than a year later.
