Grounds Maintenance Worker
Location: Roswell, NM
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Hours may vary)

As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you'll help maintain attractive, safe, and well-kept grounds and rest areas while supporting Tresco's commitment to excellence and service.
What You'll DoYou'll play a vital role in keeping our properties looking their best by:
- Maintaining grounds according to contract schedules and quality standards.
- Operating walk-behind and zero-turn mowers to keep lawns neatly manicured.
- Trimming grass, edging sidewalks, and controlling weeds.
- Using blowers to remove debris and maintaining clean grounds.
- Picking up trash, leaves, branches, and other debris.
- Trimming hedges and shrubs for a polished appearance.
- Pruning trees and shrubs using hand and power tools.
- Responding to storm cleanup by removing fallen limbs, trees, and debris.
- Aerating and fertilizing lawns as needed.
- Monitoring equipment and reporting maintenance concerns.
- Repairing and maintaining irrigation systems, including Rain Bird valves, sprinkler heads, timers, piping, fittings, and wiring.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in:
- Grounds maintenance
- Irrigation systems
- Tractor and mowing equipment
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and tools
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing:
- Driving Record (MVR)
- Office of Inspector General (OIG)/CMMS Exclusions List
- General Background Check
- New Mexico Department of Health Fingerprinting
